Type of State Flags in Malaysia

Mandatory Days
Days Declared as Mandatory to Fly the National Flag of Malaysia
(according to the directives of the Prime Minister's office)

1. For Government offices, statutory bodies, local government authorities, government agencies, schools and public hospitals:
   Normal office days, Grand day of the Federal Territories and states as follows:
   • National Day
   • Malaysia Day
   • Days when His Majesty Duli Yang Maha Mulia Seri Paduka Baginda Yang Di Pertuan Agong visits
   • Official birthday of His Majesty Duli Yang Maha Mulia Seri Paduka Baginda Yang Di Pertuan Agong
2. Factories, Office Buildings, Offices, Shopping Complexes, SHops, Clinics, Hotels, Public Places of Entertainment:
   • National Day
   • Malaysia Day. Also, it is encouraged to fly the national flag on ordinary days.
3. Apartments and Other Places of Residence: Not compulsory, but allowed to fly the national flag at any time as long as the honour of the flag is maintained.

使用国旗须知（只限马来西亚客户）马来西亚官方规定的张挂国旗日（根据首相署提供的指南）：

1. 政府办公室，法定机构，地方政府，政府机构，学校与政府医院等等
   一般工作天，联邦直辖区以及各州的指定大节日：
   • 马来西亚日
   • 国庆日
   • 最高元首陛下之诞辰
   • 最高元首殿下到访的日子
2. 工厂，办公大厦，购物广场，商店，诊所，旅店与娱乐中心
   • 国庆日
   • 马来西亚日。政府鼓励这些场所的业者在一般的日子也张挂国旗。
3. 公寓以及其他类型的居处没有强制张挂国旗，但是允许在任何时候，在维护国旗尊严的情况下张挂国旗。
